The vicious cycle of high-pressure situations and stress can lead to mental exhaustion and detachment, which in turn weaken our defenses. It is not uncommon to experience feelings of inefficacy, irritability and cynicism in these situations, as well as to exhibit stress-induced physical symptoms. Disrupting this cycle is challenging.

The first step toward breaking this cycle is already achieved when you arrive at Rosebud and change your environment and routine. You will be gradually eased into meditation and yoga practices that have three clear objectives: to enable you to be fully present at the Retreat, to alleviate symptoms such as feeling overwhelmed and to provide you with intuitive techniques to increase your resilience in the future.

Whether you are already acquainted with meditation and yoga practices or you have never explored this space, our instructors will assess your individual needs and desires and guide you through each step of the journey. Our approach is informed by mindfulness techniques utilized by elite athletes. It is designed to help you manage your stress ahead of, during and in the aftermath of high-stress situations.
