Nikos is the Creator of Rosebud. Prior to setting up the Retreat, he spent 15 years across Europe, the United States and, briefly, Singapore where he experienced firsthand the challenges that Rosebud sets out to address.
Nikos first worked as a consultant in Brussels, at one point managing a global team of 120 consultants across 45 countries. He later worked for startups in the technology and micromobility spaces, launching and managing new markets in Europe.
Suffering a burnout in 2014 was a pivotal moment that planted the seed for a retreat that takes a pragmatic approach to today’s complex, nuanced work-related challenges.
Over time, and with input from leading business executives and wellbeing specialists from a wide range of fields, this idea developed into Rosebud: a unique retreat where fast-paced professionals can let down their guard and receive practical, actionable support from experienced specialists with corporate backgrounds.
Our approach combines a high degree of empathy with structured support and an honest acknowledgment of life’s constraints and tradeoffs. We steer clear of gimmicks and pseudoscience, and offer warm Mediterranean hospitality in lieu of an impersonal, clinical approach.
Nikos completed his BA in Economics and Political Science at the University of Michigan and earned his MBA from the Wharton School.
Born in Athens with roots in Portland, Oregon, Nikos is a lifelong athlete and enjoys everything from coin collecting and bowling, to rock concerts and cycling across the mountainous Greek islands.
